The Scouters Lodge A.F. & A.M.
The Scouters Lodge A.F. & A.M. was founded in Holden, Massachusetts in 2009 during the term of Most Worshipful Roger W. Pageau, Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts between 2007 and 2010. Several activities occurred during his term that resulted in the founding: it began with the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts presenting a certificate of recognition to a young man who had earned his Eagle Scout which lead to the formation of the Massachusetts Masonic Eagle Scout Association. Ultimately, the decision of several members of that association, spearheaded by R.W. Jay A. Jolicoeur, Deputy Grand Master and Eagle Scout, lead to the organization of the Lodge.
Instituted in 2010 under the direction of M.W. Roger W. Pageau.
Today, The Scouters Lodge is 35 members strong, with an average of 50% - 60% attendance at every meeting. While still meeting at the Holden Senior Center, the lodge often travels to other parts of the jurisdication to visit member's home lodges and share in the Scouting and Masonic chear.
